1. City of Arlington – 북텍사스 한인상공회 경제개발 MOU 체결
지난 9월 2일, City of Arlington과 북텍사스 한인상공회(KACCNT)는 한국 기업의 미국 진출 지원 및 경제 교류 확대를 위한 MOU를 체결했습니다.
이번 협약을 통해 KACCNT는 알링턴 시와 협력하여, 기존에 대기업에 주로 제공되던 세금 혜택, 인허가 절차 간소화 등 각종 지원을 중소기업에도 확대하여 더 많은 한인 기업들이 안정적으로 미국 시장에 자리 잡을 수 있도록 돕게 됩니다.
또한, 오는 11월에는 알링턴 시와 함께 한국 전주·대전을 방문하여 지자체 미팅 및 네트워킹, 항공·자동차·바이오·스포츠·건설 분야 산업 시찰, 익산 식품클러스터 방문 등의 일정을 진행할 예정입니다.
1. Economic Development MOU with the City of Arlington
On September 2, the City of Arlington and the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of North Texas (KACCNT) signed an MOU to support Korean companies entering the U.S. market and to expand economic cooperation.
Through this agreement, KACCNT will collaborate with the City of Arlington to extend tax incentives, streamlined permitting processes, and other forms of support previously available mainly to large corporations, to small and medium-sized Korean businesses. This initiative aims to help more Korean enterprises establish a stable presence in the U.S.
In November, KACCNT and the City of Arlington will visit Jeonju and Daejeon in Korea for meetings with local governments, networking, industrial site visits in aviation, automotive, bio, sports, and construction sectors, as well as a tour of the Iksan Food Cluster.
2. 북텍사스 한인상공회 초대 회장 안교선 회장, 달라스 방문
북텍사스 한인상공회(전 달라스 한인상공회)는 지난 9월, 초대 회장 안교선 회장의 달라스 방문을 맞아 한인 상공회의 역사와 의미를 되새기는 자리를 가졌습니다.
1976년 안 회장의 주도로 출범한 달라스 한인상공회는 수십 년간 한인 비즈니스 권익 보호와 지역사회 발전에 기여해 왔습니다. 이번 방문에서 안 회장은 창립 당시의 의미와 오늘날까지 이어진 한인 경제 네트워크의 중요성을 강조하며, 2026년 우수 경관 포상 및 장학금 행사 후원을 약속했습니다.
이날 모임에는 역대 회장단과 현 임원진이 함께해 상공회의 미래 발전 방향을 논의했습니다. 신동헌 회장은 “초대 회장님의 방문은 우리가 걸어온 길을 돌아보고 앞으로 나아갈 길을 모색하는 뜻깊은 계기였다”고 전했습니다.
2. Visit of KACCNT Founding President, Mr. Kyosun Ahn
Theme: A Meaningful Time to Reflect on the History and Legacy of the Korean American Community in Dallas
In September, the Korean American Chamber of Commerce of North Texas (formerly the Greater Dallas Korean American Chamber of Commerce) welcomed its founding president, Mr. Kyosun Ahn, during his visit to Dallas.
Founded in 1976 under Mr. Ahn’s leadership, the Dallas Korean American Chamber has played a vital role for decades in protecting business rights and fostering community development. During his visit, Mr. Ahn highlighted the importance of the Korean American economic network and pledged to support the 2026 Police Excellence Awards and Scholarship Program.
The gathering included past chamber presidents and current executives who discussed the chamber’s future direction. President Dongheon Shin stated, “The visit of our founding president was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the path we have taken and to envision the road ahead.”
3. 신규 Corporate Member 가입 – Bridge One Insurance Service, Inc.
Bridge One Insurance Service, Inc.가 북텍사스 한인상공회 Corporate Member로 새롭게 가입하셨습니다.
Bridge One Insurance는 자동차, 주택, 생명보험을 비롯한 다양한 보험 상품을 제공하며, 개인과 기업 고객의 니즈에 맞춘 맞춤형 보험 솔루션을 제시하는 전문 보험 중개업체입니다.
👉 상공회에서는 11월 Opening Ceremony를 준비 중입니다.
이 자리에는 상공회 임원진 12명과 캐롤턴 경찰국장이 함께할 예정입니다. 많은 관심과 참여 부탁드립니다.

4. 촉타오 네이션 도축장 및 식당 방문 – 지역 육류 도매상과 협력 논의
지난 9월 16일, 북텍사스 한인상공회는 지역 육류 도매상들과 함께 촉타오 네이션(Choctaw Nation)에서 운영하는 도축장 및 식당을 방문했습니다.
이번 방문에서는 한인 사회와 지역 축산업계 간 협력 방안을 논의하고, 육류 공급망 확대 및 상호 발전을 위한 다양한 의견을 교환하였습니다. 상공회는 앞으로도 지역 산업과의 연계를 통해 한인 기업들의 비즈니스 기회를 넓히고자 합니다.
4. Visit to Choctaw Nation Slaughterhouse and Restaurant – Exploring Cooperation with Local Meat Wholesalers
On September 16, KACCNT, together with local meat wholesalers, visited the slaughterhouse and restaurant operated by the Choctaw Nation.
The visit provided an opportunity to discuss collaboration between the Korean American community and the regional livestock industry, exploring ways to expand the meat supply chain and create mutual growth opportunities. KACCNT will continue to strengthen ties with local industries to broaden business opportunities for Korean enterprises.
5. 상공회 네트워킹 이벤트 안내
상공회 임원진, EDC 센터 관계자, 대학교 교수진, 그리고 Corporate Member 분들이 함께하는 네트워킹 행사가 열립니다.
